Tecker Consultants
Glenn Tecker is Chair of the Board of
Association DataZone and is President and Chief Executive Officer of
Tecker
Consultants, LLC, an international consulting practice that has
completed projects for over 900 groups in 49 states, Europe, Canada,
Asia, Mexico, and Central America. Mr. Tecker’s many consulting
assignments have included strategic planning, governance, research,
training and education for organizations of all types.
He is co-author of Successful Association
Leadership: Dimensions of 21st Century Competency for the CEO
and is co-designer of a curriculum for training the boards of organizations.
In addition to serving as editor of an education handbook for non-profit
executives is was the primary developer of a guide for organizational
self-assessment and author of Merit, Measurement
and Money, a text on staff evaluation, incentives
and compensation. His second best seller, Building
Toward A Knowledge Based Culture: 21st Century Work and Decision Making
Systems, co-authored with Jean Frankel and
Kermit Eide, principal partners of Tecker Consultants, was published
in 1997. The Will to Govern Well: Knowledge,
Trust and Nimbleness, was released by the
Foundation of the American Society of Association Executives in September
2002. In 1998, Glenn was honored as the recipient of ASAE’s Academy
of Leaders Award—the highest possible recognition awarded by ASAE’s
Board of Directors to only 13 recipients in its 75 year history.
Mr. Tecker has served in an executive capacity with business, public
agencies, and non-profit organizations. He has also been a Board member
for both non-profit and for-profit corporations.
Robin Wedewer is President of Association
DataZone and oversees the management and coordination of all the DataZones
and the research. Robin is also a senior associate with Tecker
Consultants, LLC, specializing in marketing research.
Robin has 20 years experience planning and executing major strategic
planning and research projects. She began her research career in the
advertising business, where she conducted primary research to support
large-scale marketing activities for clients such as Pfizer Animal Health,
AT&T Universal Card Services, BancBoston, Merial (makers of Frontline®
and Heartgard®). As the director of research for a major advertising
agency in the Southeast, she also was responsible for ongoing environmental
scanning efforts for account groups, conducting extensive secondary
research for background briefings and investigating clients’ competitors
and their competitive environment.
Robin also conducts quantitative research, such as mail, telephone and
online surveys and qualitative research, such as focus groups and in-depth
interviews. She has developed a qualitative interview technique that
combines discovery and the exploration of concepts. Above all, her first-hand
experience with public relations and marketing activities for a wide
variety of businesses and organizations helps her to keep an eye on
the bottom line of any research—actionable information.
Robin graduated from Mary Washington College, Fredericksburg, Virginia,
and pursued graduate studies in research and communications at the University
of Maryland, College Park. She has also attended the A.C. Nielsen
Burke Institute for quantitative research studies and focus group moderation.
She is a member of the American Society of Association Executives, the
Marketing Research Association and the Society of Competitive Intelligence
Professionals.
Dale Maurice is the Technical Director
for Association DataZone and coordinates implementation all software, integrates existing
databases with the collected statistical data and ensures the website
and online registration functions run at optimal levels.
Dale brings nearly 20 years experience in systems engineering, programming/analysis,
and technical assistance in design, planning, installation, administration
and training involving an assortment of hardware and software configurations.
He has in-depth experience in management of Internet and Local Area
Networks (LANs), Sun file servers, and associated server software. He
is expert in programming web applications and experienced at managing
servers averaging millions of hits per day
. He has experience including installation
and administration of UNIX, Novell, and LAN manager based networks from
both software and hardware perspectives, over six years experience with
Sybase database administration and programming and over 15 years experience
in networking and programming.
Dale has worked as a senior software engineer and senior training analyst
for ManTech Systems Engineering Corporation, delivering a broad array
of information technology and technical services solutions to U.S. federal
government customers, focusing primarily on critical national defense
programs for the intelligence community, and Department of Defense.
He received his B.S. in computer science from Old Dominion University.
He has countless certifications and capabilities in the computer sciences
field.
Association DataZone’s sister organization,

Consultants, LLC, provides the knowledge and insight to help associations
successfully launch their DataZone. A Tecker consultant will serve as
the facilitator during the Strategy Design Workshop and provide counsel
and assistance as needed throughout the implementation of the DataZone
